The Regional Education Program for the Deaf serves deaf and hard-of-hearing students until age 22 who live in the top 26 counties of Texas.

RDSPD Success Stories

A man with a mustache looks to the side, wearing an orange and white jersey.Ben Diaz, former Lamar, Fannin, and Caprock student, played football throughout his four years at Caprock High School.  He was honored for his courage and perseverance. Ben graduated from Amarillo College's Auto Mechanics program. As Ben says, "Never give up, practice everyday and you'll be a winner." Congratulations Ben!

Born profoundly deaf, Hayden has shown dedication and drive in both athletics and academics. He graduated from WTAMU with a degree in civil engineering.
