June 3, 2025 – A design and build team from AmTech’s construction program has been voted the National People’s Choice Champion in the Construction Industry Education Foundation Design Build Competition. After winning Rookie Team of the Year and being selected as the regional People’s Choice winner a few weeks ago, the AmTech project was chosen to move forward in the national competition. In all, 1,789 students representing 132 schools and 134 teams participated at seven locations across four states in this year’s Design Build Competition.
